Going somewhere? Finally after two years of lockdowns and isolation, it seems like the world is finally returning to some kind of normal. And by normal, I mean borders are opening up across the world and travel is on the horizon for many this year. So if you’re planning a trip, we’ve listed the best luggage brands on the market right now. Below you will find out the best suitcases money can buy!
Rimowa
We’ll start with the leading luggage brand of the world – a name I’m sure you have heard of before. Rimowa have long been considered the best in the business when it comes to manufacturing suitcases that go the distance. And indeed, these suitcases will last a lifetime. So if you’re looking for an investment piece to keep for the rest of your travel life, these cases are worth the extra investment.
Steamline Luggage
If you’ve been following World of Wanderlust for a while, you will undoubtedly be famniliar with Steamline Luggage. For the past few years I have exclusively been travelling with these cases, following a quick obsession with the range when I discovered then soon after they launched. One look at this photo and it isn’t hard to see why I fell so hard for them! This is by far the most glamorous suitcase range. But of course with such beauty comes responsibility, so I would recommend sticking to hand luggage cases and smaller, to ensure their safekeeping. Each of the cases (regardless of the size) comes with a protective travel case, luxurious lining throughout the interiors and clever pockets for all your important bits n bobs. There really is no suitcase that compares for me, and certainly no case I have been asked about more than these!
Tumi
Another famous name in the luggage game is Tumi. Founded in New Jersey back in 1975, the luggage company has long been a leader in the suitcase game. They excel at hard-shell cases and in particular, at carry-on cases with plenty of pockets and interior compartments. They are also one of the most expensive options, but a lifetime investment!
Horizn Studios
If you’re looking for a suitcase brand that looks expensive but has a more approachable price tag, check out Horizn Studios. These suitcases are just as carefully created – with thoughtful designs and compartments. But the price point is much more mid-range, making them more budget friendly (and leaving you with more money to explore!)
Away
This New York mega brand sort of come out of nowhere to steal the show – but we’re so glad they did. Away came to the market to transform luggage – which they did in a few wizz bang inventions – but have largely reverted to a seamless, stylish approach to affordable luxury luggage. Does that sound like a mouthful? Let me break it down for you.
Bric’s
With almost 70 years of experience making luxury luggage, Bric’s suitcases are worth their weight in gold. They’re a little more on the expensive side, without overdoing it. Plus, their range is just so beautiful!
Globe-Trotter
Globe-Trotter has been crafting suitcases for 124 years, ever since the Golden Age of travel. Their cases are handmade in England in a classic and timeless design, making them one of the most photogenic, long lasting and desirable suitcases on the market.
